In partnerships with the company’s leadership and creative teams, I led development of the Zoox brand voice.

This project set the tone for the company’s recent reveal campaign, including creative direction for website copy, digital advertising, newsletters, and other social media content.

My personal highlight? This teaser clip and the new (and now award-winning!) Zoox website.

Internal Comms

Let’s be clear, concise, and consistent

From the outset of the pandemic, I led all company-wide employee communications at Zoox.

This involved supporting various internal partners throughout the development of COVID-19 and ‘return-to-work’ communications (i.e., manager briefings, key messaging and talking points, employee FAQs, company-wide policy, and operational updates).

In addition to this, I worked with senior leadership to develop and refine the company’s ‘employer brand’ initiatives.

I also managed content across the intranet and internal newsletter, while providing additional strategy and messaging support for weekly All-Hands meetings and other internal communication objectives.

Corporate Branding and Marketing Content

Partnering with subject matter experts can help transform an otherwise boring bit of copy into compelling content. And an effective branding opportunity.

While working with Eview Group, I partnered with executive stakeholders to identify priorities and goals for the real estate company (30+ offices across Australia).

In support of this work, I leveraged analytics, market trends, and competitor intelligence to build unique content for social media, websites, newsletters, and marketing collateral.

Partnerships and Community Engagement

Developing content for complex coalition campaigns (concerning advocacy, research, government relations, and public policy) is where it all started for me.

While at the Penington Institute, I owned the integrated marketing strategy for all branding and strategic communications.

I’ve worked collaboratively with internal stakeholders (researchers, epidemiologists, and public health specialists) and external partner organizations to align messaging, content, and tactical strategy.

Improving Accessibility and Inclusion

Community and stakeholder engagement have been central to much of my work.

Notably, while at the Victorian Ombudsman, I managed strategic relationships with regard to operational and community engagement goals.

This included the organization’s accessibility and reconciliation action plans.

Conducting interviews and developing written content on a wide variety of topics in the corporate and not-for-profit sector.

During my time at the Victorian Ombudsman, I led the editorial development for various investigation reports tabled in state parliament.

These reports detail investigations into systemic malpractice, improper conduct, and corruption within the Victorian government and related government-funded institutions and administrative bodies.
